Description
The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) national headquarters is located on 17th Street near the White House in Washington, D.C. Constitution Hall, one of the largest concert halls in Washington, is part of the multi-block DAR complex. Renowned American architect John Russell Pope designed the building which opened in 1929. (Pope was the architect of the Jefferson Memorial, the National Gallery of Art, and the Freemasonry House of the Temple, also famous buildings in our nation's capital). This is a night photograph of the main entrance to the DAR headquarters on 17th Street.
